A Sri Lankan-born Canadian author and poet, Philip Michael jordan Ondaatje, had written Running in the Family. He could be best known to get writing The English Individual. While the book is fictionalized for the most part, Ondaatje notes that, " In Sri Lanka a well-told rest is worth 1000 facts.
